Córdoba afraid of "concentration camp" on Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD - Member of Parliament for the opposition party Pueblo Soberano Jaime Córdoba firmly believes that the Dutch Ministry of Defense is busy building the third base at Wacawa in Bandabou on Curaçao. He has said this will be used as a concentration camp. Cordoba stated this during recent radio interviews.

With this, the politician seems to believe in conspiracy theories that are currently circulating on social media. It states, among other things, that the American government intends to lock up its own citizens in such camps.

The spokesperson for the Dutch Defense in Curaçao today told the Dutch newspaper Antilliaans Dagblad that there will be no third base at all, and certainly no concentration camp. They are willing to invite Córdoba to show him around the camp. The politician worked for many years as a police officer before entering politics.
