WILLEMSTAD - The more than 32 million liters of oil stored in the name of PdVSA at Bullenbaai was sold during an auction for almost 12 million guilders on Wednesday.

The 200,000 barrels of oil are said to have been sold to Petrochina, but that has not been announced. The public sale was necessary after the oil was seized. The buyer can do what it wants with the oil. The American sanctions do not apply because PdVSA does not earn anything.
