WILLEMSTAD - According to the Human Rights Caribbean foundation, the circumstances in which refugees in Curaçao are being held are still below the minimum.

For example, the food supply is insufficient and Venezuelan refugees are put under pressure to buy tickets and return to Venezuela via a third country, without receiving legal assistance.

This is reported by Ieteke Witteveen on behalf of the Human Rights Caribbean organization, which, in her opinion, still makes great efforts to provide assistance in the foreigners' barracks at the request of the detainees.
