Churandy Martina not in World Cup Relay Squad

AMSTERDAM - Churandy Martina will not be part of the relay team in the 4×100 meters next month. The 37-year-old sprinter has not been chosen to participate in the World Athletics Championships in the US. Curaçaoans Hensley Paulina and Taymir Burnet are among the group that has been selected for the World Cup. Martina wanted to participate but was passed by the technical staff. The Curaçaoan has also set his sights on the 2024 Olympic Games.  

 

The dream team from last year's Olympic Games is back on the road in the 4×400-meter relay. Then they won the silver medal, those 4 names have now also been selected for the World Cup. It concerns: Liemarvin Bonevacia, Tony van Diepen, Ramsey Angela and Terrence Agard.
