WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao will celebrate 'Day of Country Curaçao' next Monday. The day revolves around the culture and art of Curaçao. Several organizations will join forces to celebrate the day. Spread over two days, different aspects of the culture, the country, and the people will be emphasized, the organization reports.  

The organization of the celebration of 10-10-10 says that many activities are planned in Punda. Various artists will perform, and there are food courts, sports activities, and a recreation corner for children. The shops are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and have various discounts.  

The program already starts on Sunday. Various performances will take place on the Wilhelminaplein. The evening ends with a fireworks show. On Monday, the program starts at 10:00 am at three locations: Wilhelminaplein, Gomezplein, and Plaza Jojo Correa. All performances are free to the public.
