WILLEMSTAD - The power problems that caused the recent blackout have not yet been resolved.

Fluctuations in the electricity voltage were the cause of the blackout and since then the voltage has been constantly monitored. Especially in the morning, there are still large changes in the voltage, and these are now adjusted manually.

The fluctuations have been going on since mid-January, but the cause is still a mystery.
