WILLEMSTAD - Cats of Curacao is looking for a new home. The cats can no longer remain at the current property. Leader of the organization Mariette Hanssen does not know what to do.

Cats of Curacao was born from the overpopulation of cats on our island. People who have or find newborn kittens often bring them to Cats or Curacao. The volunteer organization is funded by sponsors and donations.

The emotional Hanssen says he sees no way out for the more than 200 cats and kittens and hopes for help from the population or the government.
