WILLEMSTAD - Scientists on the Dutch Caribbean Islands can fully finance their research in the Netherlands. This was announced by the Dutch Minister Ingrid van Engelshoven of Education during her visit to Curaçao.

The possibility of financing is due to a change in the subsidy scheme of the NOW, the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research.

This agreement was signed during the recent four country conference in which the Dutch Minister was present together with her Caribbean counterparts.
