Bus drivers’ organizations argue for a lower fuel price

WILLEMSTAD - Organizations representing drivers of small buses, taxis and heavy vehicles joined forces yesterday to find a solution for the higher fuel prices.

For example, the drivers went to the state company Curoil to find out why the recent price increase and they also appealed to the government.

The organizations believe that the government and Curoil should lower gasoline prices by settling for a lower profit margin. The high gasoline prices are very detrimental to their income, according to the drivers.
