WILLEMSTAD - After a 15-month absence, Bonaire was able to welcome Delta Airlines and American Airlines back to the island last weekend. They had about 300 American tourists on board.

They were surprised with music and dance and received a folder with activities. Both flights came in 20 minutes after each other, which made the atmosphere at the airport just like old days.

Remarkably happy faces were seen from both arriving guests and waiting taxi drivers and accommodation providers. The Americans are tested on arrival, the results are ready after 20 minutes.
