WILLEMSTAD - The Christian Pastors Association (APK) does not agree with the bill that wants to make it possible for people of the same sex to marry each other in Curaçao. The president of the association Said Flores said in a press release that during the last elections in 2017, no party argued for the introduction of so-called same-sex marriage.

There would also be no support among voters. He wants the proposal not to be submitted for a vote in parliament.

The bill was introduced by Members of Parliament Giselle McWilliam and Stephen Walroud, both in the current government coalition.
