WILLEMSTAD - Aruba is organizing a national vaccination marathon for the third time on Sunday, August 22. The aim of the campaign is to vaccinate 2000 to 2500 people against the corona virus in one day.

The pressure on the Horacio Oduber Hospital continues to increase. There are currently 65 corona patients in hospital. Thirteen patients had to be flown to Colombia.

Meanwhile, doctors and nurses have arrived on the island to support hospital staff. They will also be used on Sunday to be able to give as many vaccinations as possible.
