WILLEMSTAD - Aqualectra has set to work with defective power cables. On Friday, the electricity company faced power outages in several neighborhoods. These power cables will be repaired in the coming days.

Residents of Jongbloed, Toni Kunchi, Mahaai and Cas Cora, among others, had no electricity for a long time on Friday. In addition, there was also no electricity in Nieuwe Haven, but according to Aqualectra this had to do with something else.

Four power cables were out on Friday. The two main cables have already been repaired, the rest will be tackled in the coming days.
