WILLEMSTAD - Out of the 74,243 houses visited by Senso on Curaçao, 60,143 were occupied. This was revealed by the 2023 population survey conducted by Senso, as announced by the Central Bureau of Statistics on Tuesday.
Among the occupied homes are 68 collective living units, such as institutions, nursing homes, and the Sentro di Detenshon i Korekshon Korsou. The remaining buildings were either unoccupied, uninhabitable, still under construction, or used as vacation homes.
Curaçao has over 155,000 residents, according to the results of the Senso 2023 census. The data was released at the beginning of July.
