WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao lawyer Lizaima da Costa Gomez gave the SDKK prison an ultimatum to improve the prison situation within two days, in particular in block 6.

The problem is, according to the lawyer, that the prisoners in block 6 were told yesterday that the number of hours they were allowed to air was considerably reduced per day. From now on they can only air one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon.

According to her, this is the result of internal organization problems in prison. She appeals to the management to solve the internal problems and to let the prisoners air for longer.
