Amnesty International again voices concern about reception of Venezuelans in Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD - Now that the Dutch government has allocated 23.8 million euros to help Curaçao and Aruba to steer Venezuelans in the right direction, Amnesty International states that the administrators of the countries are at a new crossroads.

According to Eduard Nazarski of Amnesty, the big question is whether Aruba and Curaçao choose human rights with good procedures, relief and care. Or that the countries opt for deterrence with imprisonment and forced return.
