WILLEMSTAD - Members of the education union Sitek yesterday agreed to the agreement concluded between the trade union and the government.

This means that the strike is now over after 10 days. Parents were called to bring their children back to school today.

The agreement implies, among other things, that a committee will ensure that all items discussed will be carried out. Besides the cleaning of the schools, it also involves less work for VSBO teachers, holiday days for non-teaching staff at schools and the financial position of teachers.
