Addendum to coalition agreement to be ready next week

WILLEMSTAD - The parties MFK, KEM, and independent parliament member Zita Jesus-Leito aim to have the addendum to the coalition agreement ready next week. This addition will allow the coalition to proceed following the departure of the PNP from the coalition last month. Jesus-Leito confirmed to Amigoe that during discussions, the priorities of the two new parties have been communicated to MFK. This is now being processed into a document.

The coalition between MFK and PNP collapsed on August 21. Before this, Jesus-Leito and KEM had already been in contact with MFK, and an agreement on cooperation had been reached. As is known, Jesus-Leito will provide a minister for Economic Development in the new coalition, while KEM will provide a minister for Social Development, Labor, and Welfare.
