WILLEMSTAD – The Inspectorate of the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO) seized 950 kilos of pumpkins yesterday. The products were imported incorrectly.  

There is a temporary ban on the import of pumpkins to protect local farmers. There are plenty of locally grown pumpkins available for this month. The confiscated fruits are distributed among the homes and hospitals on the island.
