WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 2109 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 78 of them resulted positive. 136 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 548.

According to the epidemiology department, 6 cases are imported.

The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 21 cases are in the hospital. 5 COVID-related cases are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 3 have died. 1 of them was in the hospital and the other 2 at home but were not contagious anymore. None of the 3 were vaccinated.
