WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 2172 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 70 of them resulted positive. 49 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 662.

According to the epidemiology department, 1 case is imported. There are still cases connected to the big cluster which was mentioned before. The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 7 cases are in the hospital. 4 COVID-related cases are in the ICU. Most of these people did not have enough protection and are not vaccinated.
