WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 2225 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 52 of them resulted positive. 64 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 621.

According to the epidemiology department, 4 cases are imported. After more investigation, it became known that 1 case was recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.

The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 37 cases are in the hospital. 16 COVID-related cases are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 person has died at home.
