WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1122 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 5 resulted positive. 1 case was taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 35. 2 of them are imported and the other ones are probably a local infection.

The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) remains the same: 7 people are in the hospital. 1 of them is in the intensive care unit. In April, 1 person passed away, but this was not reported. Now that an investigation has been conducted, the epidemiology department can confirm this. The total number of covid-related death is now 126.
