WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 2140 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 49 of them resulted positive. 56 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 652.

According to the epidemiology department, 4 cases are imported. 3 cases were registered incorrectly, the necessary adjustment has been made. There are still cases related to the known clusters.

The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 7 cases are in the hospital. 4 COVID-related cases are in the ICU. Of those cases in the hospital 7 are not vaccinated and one got infected in less than 2 weeks after receiving the second vaccination dose. This person did not have the maximum protection from the vaccine.
