WILLEMSTAD - Minister Charles Cooper, together with the Urban Planning Service (ROP), conducted an inspection on March 26th regarding the development of the new project for the construction of 48 apartments on the golf course of Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort.
This project includes the construction of 48 apartments, located next to the golf course, distributed in 4 independent complexes and two floors for each building. The project features two communal pools, tropical landscaping, and the complete construction is expected to be finished within 2 years.
These houses are developed with a future-oriented vision, suitable for both short-term and long-term rental; the possibility of homeownership is also available. It is a strategy that will substantially improve the quality of life and housing supply in the region.
This development began when the permit was granted on November 2, 2023. It represents an investment of 32 million guilders, providing a boost to our country's economy. During the construction process, special attention is given to the sustainability of various environmental aspects, such as adequate water drainage systems and the creation of sufficient parking space.
This project marks a significant contribution to Curaçao's economic growth by creating jobs during the construction phases.
Minister Charles Cooper expressed his satisfaction with this initiative, hoping it will provide a significant economic boost to the country. This project is a realization of Curaçao's overall potential and of Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort in particular, as an attractive place to live and invest.
