WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1959 people that were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 45 of them resulted positive. 39 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 430.

According to the epidemiology department, no imported cases were detected.

The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 26 cases are in the hospital. 14 COVID-related cases are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 person has died in the hospital making the total now 162 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
