WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao is the host country of the upcoming Carifta swimming tournament. The regional championship is from April 5 to 10. Four hundred athletes from 21 countries will participate in the event.  

There are four parts, namely swimming, water ballet, beach water polo, and open water. Curaçao uses the competitions to promote local athletes and swimming. The Ministry of Sports hopes to win several international competitions after this.
