WILLEMSTAD - In Venezuela, 34 people from Curaçao are still stranded. It concerns residents of the island who do not have a Dutch passport but do have a residence or work permit. In this case especially Venezuelans who legally reside in Curaçao.

There is one repatriation flight between Caracas and Willemstad, but only people with a Dutch passport were allowed on it. Only 18 of the 56people were then allowed to board.

Those residents demand action from the Rhuggenaath government.
