WILLEMSTAD - Last Friday, 240 students graduated from the University of Curaçao. A large crowd was present during the annual diploma ceremony.
In total, 203 bachelor's and 37 master's students received their diplomas, distributed across the five different faculties. Three-quarters of the graduates are women, with the youngest student being 21 years old and the oldest student being 78 years old.
The students came from fourteen different countries: Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, the Netherlands, St. Maarten, St. Eustatius, Venezuela, Colombia, Suriname, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, China, and Mexico.
Three-quarters of the graduates were from Curaçao, while the remaining quarter were from other countries. After the official ceremony, the graduates celebrated the historic moment in their lives with their families on the UoC campus.
