20-Year-Old Man Shot Dead in His Car

WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao has been shaken by a second murder in a short period. On Monday around noon, a 20-year-old man was fatally shot in his car near the garage entrance of a home on Kaya Ser’i Popchi in Sun Valley. 

At approximately 2:30 PM, police received a report of a shooting at the location. Upon arrival, officers found a man inside a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. He showed no signs of life. 

Targeted Attack 

According to preliminary investigations, a passing vehicle stopped, and a masked gunman stepped out, firing multiple shots at the victim. The car was parked inside a garage, and the victim was hit in the upper body. 

After the shooting, the suspect fled the scene. Emergency services arrived quickly, but there was nothing they could do for the victim. Broken glass and bloodstains were visible next to the car. 

A forensic doctor confirmed the death, and the Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered the body to be taken for further investigation. 

Victim Identified 

The police identified the victim as Julien Jundrick Lucas, born on October 24, 2004, in Curaçao. 

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
