Medical staff on their way to Curaçao

SCHIPHOL - A group of healthcare workers will fly from the Netherlands to Curacao this afternoon to assist the medical staff. They will help in the hospital and with the vaccinations.

Forty doctors, nurses, hospital pharmacists and other medical personnel have been recruited through the “Extra hands for care” initiative. Hundreds of people signed up. Previously, personnel from the Netherlands and the United States were flown in to help Curacao.

According to a report on Rijnmond.nl, the “assignment is still a bit foggy” and everything only becomes clear once the helping hand is actually on location.
