Another foreigner in a Curacao company. Where are the jobs for the Curacao people? Also taken away work form the telephone sales office. They will probably start firing people soon.

    • MarkTech

Yes because he have a 25 years of experience in aviation and they need people like him. The curacaoan people need to study more to be competitive in the whole world.

      • Egan

So DAE wil take over the whole world? You need job experience to make it in the aviation business. I want to see the Island grown, the people grow, all industries grown. and not see all money go to people who do not live in Curacao.

        • JGH

If they do not study and get experience even abroad or in the Island you will see more like this. You cannot compete against experience or studies for just being a “Yu di tera”. You must prepare yourself for a competitive world. You guys need to be more realistic.

          • Egan

Realisticly all money earned by DAE is going to Ramis’s company Falcon air. Thats reality. They do not have a top management with locals in it> all speaking spanish. If i should believe the paper Ramiz is the owner and not “Yu di tera”. Now a commercial director from abroad. How come Insel can do it with locals and DAE can or more realisticly don’t want to. Same reason again. The money is not staying in Curacao. Hope they survive Ramiz’s trick of plundering companies a smentioned by Frank Lewitt in Amigoe newspaper.

I’m happy finally DAE is getting more planes and with more planes: delays and cancellations will be solved. GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • MarkTech

I saw in dae’s facebook page the new ATR and the new MD please post these ones here and I was reading that the orders is about 3 new MD83 and 6 new ATR72

  • Egan

@ Marktech. More Planes and more routes doesn’t solve their delay problems. more planes and keeping the same routes would though. I hoped they’ve learned from last year. Don’t grow to fast or you will have problems again!

      • Mr Ramis

i am not an expert, but you are? I can say whatever I want so try and shut me up. I’m glad you think i am a Insel Employee. Just makes you look stupid. How do you know i am not an expert? Wait and see my hatefilled friend. And if you want to reply on my comments please do so in a non childish manner and come with an argument. My 9 years old kid says shut up shut up shut up to you

      • Rico Martina

By the way do you know who the writer of all articles on this newspage works for? yes that’s right. DAE!!!!!!

        • EagerbeaverKiller

and It matters?? They publish news of both airlines and more like Avianca, American, Copa, KLM etc.

          • Egan

yes it matters you idtiot. He will only put selected new on here about DAE and Insel air not all news. he will never write anything negative about DAE because not only do they pay his salary…. They also pay for his website. Publishing and writing are 2 different things. And the paper also investigated thing regarding Insel Air and not DAE. Why not bury Insel air with the truth about DAE that they are doing really well and making profit and how much money they are making for Curacao. Why is that??

    DAE’s flight record is TERRIBLE.

According to Flight Stats, DAE’s on-time flights = only 25% of their
departures! That means they are late or cancel 3 of of ever 4 flights.
Absolutely PATHETIC! DAE = Delays Always Expected. Terrible customer
service and terrible management. The government of Curacao should
promote competition with more (and better) carriers so that DAE is
forced to either STEP UP or GET OUT OF THE BUSINESS.

    On-time – 25%
    Late – 8%
    Very Late – 10%
    Excessive Delay – 25%
    Canceled – 29%
    Diverted – 0%
